I’ve been fortunate enough lately to invest in some new kit. One of these items being the Glidecam which I have owned for a week now but had no time till yesterday evening to have a decent play with it.
First impressions are that it is a really neat piece of kit which i’m keen to learn and fully understand. I can see why many people don’t like the Glidecam, passing it off as fairly useless but with enough practice I reckon its going to be a handy addition to my filming tools.
The above image is a still from one of the test clips that I shall try and edit together and post later.
My talent boyfriend testing his new equipment and making me look awesome :)
Remember that time I hated living in halls by myself over the holidays so had a couple of friends over for the day? Oh and when Throats came to fame in my kitchen too? One of the first Norwich shows to feature baked goods by myself and my main grrl Apryl. I still remember the conversation with the Dean of students where I didn’t get kicked out of uni and was; in a backwards way, congratulated for fitting so many people into halls.this week marked FIVE YEARS since the above house show took place at stephanie’s undergraduate campus accommodation. that’s a little weird. if only you knew how long this flyer took me to make. anyway, it was a fun afternoon. if you were there, you’ll know.
Can’t believe that was 5 years ago!
